Dr Paul Carroll
Dr Carroll graduated from University of Western Australia in 1992 and worked in Australia and the UK until he arrived in Ireland in 2001. He holds Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners and has special interests in paediatrics, skin cancer, cardiology, preventative medicine and travel medicine.
Dr Ahmed Mehtar
Dr Mehtar is a graduate of Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. As one of the founder members of the Irish College of General Practitioners, Dr Mehtar is highly acclaimed and very keen on the development of general practice in Ireland. He has been practicing in Churchtown for many years and his special interests include minor surgery, preventative medicine, travel medicine and women's health.
Dr Serena Gavin
Dr Gavin is a graduate of University College Dublin. She became a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners on completion of the specialist GP training scheme in Ireland. She worked extensively in practices across the country and in 2006 worked as an emergency medical doctor in New Zealand before joining Churchtown Medical.
Dr. Gavin has a special interest in dermatology and graduated in 2010 with the Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University. As part of reproductive health care at Churchtown Medical Dr. Gavin provides Mirena Coil and Implanon insertion and has also been awarded the Advanced Certificate in Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) by the ICGP in 2013.
